Of course, if you are going to study Spanish abroad in the city of Valencia you also want to have fun and do some sightseeing, and this is where Valencia excursions can come in. As an opportunity to learn Spanish, Valencia certainly gains a boost when these events are in town, as you can really interact with locals and get a flavor of traditional culture in this way. Of course, there are some great Valencia excursions that you enjoy at any time of year when you do Spanish courses in Spain. For example, you will be able to visit the celebrated City of Arts and Sciences, a modern complex of museums and similar attractions that will keep you entertained for days on end. You also have the imax theatre at which you could take in a Spanish film, as well as the largest aquarium in all of Europe which contains hundreds of thousands of different species for you to see. Of course, you might want to plan your time at Spanish language schools in order to make the most of the Valencia excursions that are available at any given time of year. For example, if you want to attend Las Fallas then it might be a good idea to schedule your lessons before the festivities begin, then take four or five extra nights in your accommodation in order to enjoy the celebrations without having to go to lessons. This will also help you enjoy it more, as you will already have reached a better stage of your language learning and will understand more of what is going on!
